Inspired by Mark Catesby, a former resident of Williamsburg, Virginia, an English naturalist, who published his Natural History of Carolina, Florida and the Bahama Islands between 1729 and 1747, "Draw A Bird" is a series of photographs contained in a hand-made pine wooden box.
the container (wooden box) is from the death of the pine tree;
photography, as a way of making, is created by the death of the momentum,
the dead birds, are there, dead for academic research, dead from hitting on our bedroom window;
when you "draw" each photograph from the pile of dead objects, what do you see?
Who's the next along the narrative of the untold fairy tales?
